What I heard at last year's Easton Cup was that the Fargo Metro Grizzlies were short kids at the 1994 level. If you searched Pembina Valley you saw that it's a small town, near the North Dakota/Canadian border, probably short AAA players too. I heard two small organizations merged to form the 1994 Pembina Valley Hawks. I don't know if they have other teams at other levels.
They beat the Minnesota Rangers in the championship of the 1994 Open Easton Cup 2-1 with a goal with 1:20 left.

Re: Who is Pittsburgh Blue????
They were in Grand Forks last weekend and ended up in 4th. They lost to the 2nd and 3rd place teams by 6 goals.sneakypete wrote:I heard there is a new 94 AAA team playing in some tourneys called Pittsburgh Blue. Anyone have info?
It says in the program that they are from Elk River. They were in the other pool so I didn't see them play but for a few minutes when they played the Pembina Valley Hawks and they were outplayed by them.
