Breezy Point Open 98 tourney

Anyone know anything about this tournament this weekend? We didn't get into the Meltdown and are going to this instead.

What team are you with?

Did you apply for the Meltdown Open division? I would think that you need to play the Open first to see if they feel you're worthy of the Invite.

They applied for the open division. The division was full but we were offered a spot late as someone didn't pay. Having not gotten in, we accepted a spot in Breezy Point. To be honest, I think we are closer to an invite team than an open team. The coaches didn't want to play against The Machine and Blades so have focused on open tourneys. The most comparable team from here would be the 97 team from Thunder Bay that went to the open. They didn't lose a game in the open with the closest being an 11-6 win.I guess the next two weekends will tell. We are at Breezy Point this weekend and the Northern Wings tourney in Duluth next weekend.
