EP THREAT

You can bet that this is going to happen somewhere else around here relatively soon. Some idiot who sees that the EP kids got a day off will call in a bomb threat or write something threating on a bathroom wall expecting a day off too.

bizarre thing about this......they still had police with dogs patrolling the HS school area last night.

about 9:45 last night a police unit and dog came into the EP dome right before the end of my training session. I started worrying that it was a drug sniffing dog and one of my players might have some problems on the way to the parking lot.

I asked the officer if I could help him and he said no, they were just patrolling and were being extremely diligent. I had never seen that type of patrolling before.

My players said the school was not denying or confirming anything regarding the threat.

Are you a coach? what happened with that? Did they find who was responsible?

I coach at the EP club level. I have not heard any more from the players about the incident. They said everything has been pretty tight lipped, but one would think that the student grapevine would be better than what I have seen so far.
