No Edina U10s In Selects or Super Series
No Edina U10's? Not very bright on those coaches parts. Looks like Selects could've used them, based on scores on RinkWriter. Not sure why they get blackballed. Wheres blondegirlsdad? Did anyone ask the Edina U10s??? Maybe they were too busy making their video
Don't get too concerned. From what I know with regard to the team my son played on, many of the kids that were asked did not accept. One kid, who is a good player, is playing. He was middle of the pack on a B team. I do not see Pitlick, Sorenson, Zimmer and others on the squads, so do not think it is all the best.

Edina U10s
I think they did inquire, sort of - our coach asked about our availability this weekend, but we were unsure whether or not we would be home. I did see the rosters for U10 - I think much of the team would have done well there.

Several edina girls were asked to selects and declined because they are on vacation. Got this from a selects coach who also said it's his experience over several birth year teams that 1) most edina girls are on spring break somewhere and 2) edina coaches make little or no effort to reply to inquries.
No conspiracy/blackball. Hope that sets record straight. Edina has a fantastic and well respected girls program.
Pitlick was on the Major Squirts team in Super Series...saw Deuce, Machine, Blades, Icemen and Fire kids at Super Series...can never expect to get all of the best at one tourney especially with 2 going on at the same time during a big spring break week. All in all, the Super Series was a well run tourney with good refs.
