Heres the Confirmation

Fox Sports Net North has announced it will carry live coverage of Minnesota’s opening round game in the NCAA men’s hockey tournament on Saturday in Worcester, Mass.

The Gophers open the tournament by taking on Boston College at 6:30 p.m. central time. ESPNU is televising the game and showing it tape delayed at midnight. However, the game is available to local outlets for live coverage and FSN North has announced it will carry the broadcast live. FSN North will also show live coverage of the North Dakota-Princeton game at 2 p.m. on Saturday from Madison, Wis.

John Buccigross and former Los Angeles Kings coach Barry Melrose will broadcast the Minnesota game from Worcester. If Minnesota wins on Saturday, the Gophers will play on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. central and the game will only be available live on ESPNU.

Barry Melrose and John Buccigross callin the gophs game, great commentating crew.

If you have Directv, here's more good news...

There's a free preview of the "Sports Pack" this weekend (3/28-3/30) which includes ESPN U, so all of the other games will be available as well.
