Due to the resounding success of this year's State High School Hockey tournament The Minnesota Sports Broadcast Network has made an arrangement to cover this years State Bantam A Tournament at Edina this upcoming weekend. MSBN will do audio only play by play coverage of the 2008 Minnesota Hockey State Bantam A Tourney.

Broadcasts will include all 4 quarterfinal games on Friday the 14th, both semifinal games on Saturday the 15th, and the championship game on Sun the 16th.

Additional games may be added so fans are encouraged to check the full online schedule for any up and above the guaranteed announced championship bracket games.

To listen in please visit the website and click on live on air events.

We will try to also have live photos taken and put online of the tourney action. This is staff permitting since we are also covering another state tourney not involving ice. Thanks for listening.

Sounds like a great idea, I'll for sure be listening to the games that I don't get a chance to see.

Probably because they're Bantam games. I don't think you would ever see a Bantam game on T.V, with the exception of maybe on hockey day in the future or maybe the state championship or something. You would probably get a lot of complaints and not sure many people would watch it. A good amount would, but not enough. Personally, I think it would be neat. Too bad fSN or 45 don't feel the same way.
