You just keep thinking that while you're sitting on the bench at the HM JV games again.Basil Chaps wrote:Best goalie in the state? He played against Hill-Murray 3 times this season and got beat 3 times, giving up 13 goals along the way, with a good defense in front of him. The best goalie in the state would have been able to pull out one of these games, and not lost to park. Owen is good, and played well on Friday, but not top in the state.sicknasty7722 wrote: 1- Owen Collette

Buddish... He plays sick & nasty...sicknasty7722 wrote:Please go forth and tell me Huge Hook where I said Buddish is anything less than a decent player. I said he is a player that puts up points, but I personally don't like his style of play. That's the great thing about the U.S., you can voice your own opinion, and mine doesn't have to be the same as Coach Lucia and the NHL scouts. Unfortunately, that isn't the case in this situation, because our opinions are fairly similar. Don't take me wrong, he is a great player, he just wasn't the player I had at the top of my mind in the Burnsville Edina game. The Huge Hook wrote:I really hope you are kiddingsicknasty7722 wrote:I also don't like the way Buddish plays, he puts up points, but I don't like the style.![]()
Everyone has him listed as a 1st team All-State player.
Additionally, Coach Lucia and most NHL scouts are really high on him.
What do you, in your esteemed opinion, see that trained professionals do not. It seems you have no idea what you are writing about.

Doesn't that match your style... sicknasty

100% thats one of the 1st things i noticed when i pulled up the screen was like...WTH is it on a north dakota station?!?!?!!?DmanDad1980 wrote:A ballet vote for the MN Boys AP All-State Team...minnesotajrstars wrote:The Minnesota Boys 2008 AP All-State Team Ballot is out.
Click on this link to see who was nominated: http://www.kxmc.com/News/214658.asp
Balloting ends at midnight March 8.
Some players have a lot written about them and others just have their name, school and position.
From a TV station in Minot North Dakota...![]()
Is this to add authenticity to the vote? Unbiased journalism? In depth knowledge on the best MN HS hockey players? Wow!![]()
What's up w/ this? Doesn't it strike anyone as odd?

Since it came out after state I'd put Phillippi 1st and Lee second.
Anyone have the link to the article or the list of honorable mentions?
And you are an expert of nothing

This all state thing seems a bigger joke than the all metro. Lierke plays no kind of schedule and he couldn't get his team out of sections. Litchfield is oK but not all state.
Hanowski 1st team ????
STA should have had one player if not 2 on this team.
OH Well they are ordering thier rings from JOSTENS.
Name on the front is more important than the name on the back.

I never claimed to be an expert on anything. All I know is that Walters led one of the top teams in state through a tough schedule to A state title. -Lehrke's a good player, yes, but didn't play anyone.
-Hanowski led his team to get beat by Walter's team and to 5th place.
-Litchfield was on a team that won 23 games and ended up getting 6th.
Walters on any of these three teams would've easily gotten at least double the points he did, probably more.
