Congrats to Hill-Murray ! You guys played your butts off and executed a game plan that worked against 2 higher seed teams flawlessly. And excellent goal tending to boot. Great tournament as always! The best tournament in the world, bar none!

Props to the Pioneers; two nearly perfect games played to take home the title.

NO ONE saw this comming outside of Hill country. Roseau and Edina both the huge favs fall to one team. No question Hill earned this one

Congrats to Hill for a well played tourney. The pioneers were truly the best team this weekend. I'm real happy for Ryan and Jeff (what a huge smile he had).
Proud to be in the same conference as Hill and St Thomas.
PPG no hard feelings see ya next year.

Congratulations Hill-Murray! Man, I wish I could have seen the game. Can't wait to watch a tape to see how someone shut Edina out.

No kidding they earned it. Roseau and Edina on back to back nights!? Great job.

Sorry to see my alma mater go down. Props to the Pioneers.
Be kind. Rewind.

We've been saying all year that to be the best you have to beat the best. Hill did it and did with some good ole fashioned, hard nose hockey.

Congrats to the Pioneers and the entire Maplewood community (huh?)

You played a gritty style of hockey backed by one heck of a goaltender. Job well done fella's!!

This sucks.

Gotta hand it to them though - when you take what they did to Roseau and Edina, you have to put that up against the best defensive performances in Tournament history. Centennial in '03 can't be topped, but this is right up there. I saw no sign of Phillippi puting on the kind of show he did, but as everybody demanded all year... that's why you play the games.

Congrats to the Pioneers and just thank your lucky stars you didn't cross paths with the Governors in the sections, or it never would've happened.

Whatever. I'm a little shaken at the moment. Cut me some friggin' slack! I'm lucky I got the decade right at the moment. :)

Speaking of which, (I hope I don't get banned for bringing this up) did anyone see the kid grab the hot chick's breast that was holding up a sign right on camera about sometime in the third period? I was like "What an idiot, way to set a good example", and I was also like "Yea, awesome!"
