Assigned Seating is for Class AA and everything is GA for Class A.

Yesterday for Session 2, I believe they said the attendance was around 6,000 for Class A.

And for Session 1 today with Class AA, it was just over 16,000.

When it comes to attendance, class A has come a long way. On TV, it looked like LDC and LF had very large crowds. That's nice to see.

I thought they always sell out the AA semi's with about 19K, and I know last year for the championship you could get tickets at the window right before the session started.
It is what it is!

Last year's attendance might have been a little down since it was 2 northern teams in the final...less local interest and two opt-up schools with smaller enrollments.

Not that I was complaining, though. :D

16,284...16,287 if the Brotens would have shown up to do play-by-play.

They said on TV that last night's attendance was a record - I think they said 19,570, plus they sold some more tickets after some fans left after the first game. They also said tonight's game is a sellout with standing room only tickets going on sale at 3:00 pm.

1 caveat, this is the first year they double sold tickets not alloted to students. I had 6 people near me switch Friday in the season ticket holders area. It's a good idea, but given they have never done this before and it is a change it should be noted so as not to confuse this with the glory years of the early '80's.

Also when I came in at 6:50 they were still selling tickest which is odd.

Actually it was 19, 559 (largest crowd in MN hockey history) and the championship was 18, 869, friday night sesion has the highest attendance usually at the tournament.
Ben Dover plays BOTH ways.
