Blake's just throwing the puck around. They can't seem to break out of their zone let alone get anything going offensivly. SCC is playing solid D and working hard on the forecheck.

well just got home from class, but seen the last two goals, looks like SCC is playing a good game from what I see, and looks like they will be playing the STA! Good luck to them :!:

Im guessing Blake's coach Hamre is going to have a few things to say to his team during this intermission. Talk about stinking up the joint at the big venue.

Hit a pass - work the break out - get a shot for Gods sake.

Great period for St. Cloud Cathedral. Blake needs to figure out some stuff in order to get back in this game with the 'ol blue and gold!

Mr. Birkholz better step up here... Haven't seen much from him so far...

Like SCC defense, and they really started playing well in the offensive zone in the 2nd period...

Like the SCC possible matchup w/ STA on Friday :D

No one was arguing with you Goldy. Unless Blake turns it around dramatically, your call after 2 is right.

Dman - we'll let this one play out first but from my vantage point, STA is head and shoulders above these teams.

So I wasn't able to watch the STA game did my LF play them any better then they played last year? I know this should be on another thread, but I would imagine a lot of people are watching this thread now, and I want to hear what people think!

The Hanowski (sp?) boys worked hard but they were about all LF had. The LF fans were saying that they represented well.

Kudak (sp) scores on great individual effort. Walked around D and went upper shelf. Assists to Poluski and Nesler.

As the moniker states, like my defense

Like SCC defense so far, and yes STA looked good, but LF played very well w/ them all night, which I didn't expect going in...

3-0 SCC

Right now Louie Nanne is agreeing w/ my defense assessment for SCC

Good matchup SCC defense - STA offense

Yes, it was a pretty evenly played game. Game could have been tied with about 7 min left when a little falls shot snuck through altrichter's pads, but went just wide. STA then went and scored about a minute later on a fluke goal which made it 5-3, then killed a late powerplay. Good game

The Flyers gave STA a good game, they just didn't have enough to keep up with them. They got down quickly, battled back to tie it twice but STA's offense was too much in the end. Fun game to be at, too bad you missed it.
