Dying your hair

Post by HShockeywatcher »

Curious about people's opinion on teams doing this.

Warroad is a hockey dynasty and their school colors are gold and black, so dying your hair blonde and black makes sense. But for other teams, in my opinion, it doesn't.

Mankato West, for example, whose school color is red (I think white too) dyed all their hair blonde. They made a deal with their coaches that if they made it the coaches would dye their hair as well. So, all the players and the coaches dyed their hair. They said it was a great bonding experience.
If you want to do it red and white, works for me, but why blonde?

Other teams in other sports do this. How did it start, why blonde, and what are peoples' thoughts?

Unless you're last name is Oshie or Marvin, dyeing hair is not cool.

I think it is fine, these are kids and they did this to show the bondage and really if you are one of the "non" studs on this team, it helps you fit in. they wanted to make a statement in the section, which they did, and come to state with the feeling of "who cares what we look like, we are a team and this is us." a lot of teams would worry more about what they look like than anything. these kids played with heart and passion, just came up short today. believe me, they still had fun and will show up tomorrow with the same goal they did today. this is one great group of kids.

He played for Warroad, he's not "from" there just because you capitalize PLAYERS. He's one of Warroads many famous transfer players. Now Ravndalen is "from" Warroad even though he learned most of his hockey skills in Baudette.

I am done arguing about this. I know he is not originally FROM Warroad, but when we are talking hockey on here he is a PLAYER FROM Warroad.

does anyone feel dying your hair takes a teams focus off of hockey and instead it is on what the player is trying to look like? Because that is the opinion of someone I know

Watch Cloquet tomorrow @11am. this is how HS teams should represent their communities, Tight haircuts and no retarded jabber as they skate into the camera. Unless Esse has let the boys go over the years, its been awhile.

Haha just give up you won't win.

Also, add BURNSVILLE to the list above to the teams that have dyed their hair and lost.

BACK to the thread...isn't it obvious why players dye their hair blonde? For the girls! :D
