Obviously a team that has played together for years would beat an all-star team that was thrown together that night....olympics anyone? That being said, the class A all star team should be deeper than the AA squad. There are just more quality schools to pull talent from. AA is basically Roseau and Moorhead and if things are done equally you will have players from all the rest of the Section 8AA schools in there.
Okay Mr know it All:

Last years U17 Roster included:

5 Moorhead
3 Roseau
3 Buffalo
3 Warroad
2 Park Rapids
2 East grand Forks
1 Bemidji
1 Monticello

12 from AA
8 from A

Sounds about right...

so i see 3 AA schools there...not quite equal representation, correct? So like i was saying above, the team won't be comprised of moorhead and roseau only, there will be players from Northern lakes, river lakes, etc...shall i break it down some more for you? It's tough knowing so much

Actually 4 AA schools smart guy...you might want to learn to count before talkin smack...If you are so inclined why dont you take a stab at what the teams would be? Then maybe we could understand your gibberish.

Ok, so are there only 4 AA schools in Section 8 then? Didn't think so, doesn't change the point that there will be equal representation according to Elliott who says that it looks like all coaches were participating.

A vs. AA

Post by Warroad97 »

This will be alot of fun to watch. Is it for sure that the talent has to come from all the section teams? Cause you could take alot more kids from Roso and the Spuds and fill in the roster with the other schools and come up with a very talented team. as far as Zach Lerke being on the A team and able to dominate a game just ask him what happened against EGF?? Tough to get 5 goals when your not up against the cupcakes that Park Rapids played this year.

MY AA roster would consist of....

Ben Nelson -- Tyler Landman -- Joe Frazer
Joe Becker -- Nick Thielen -- Dustin Moser
Aaron Wheeler -- Nick Oliver -- Adam Knochenmus

Aaron Ness -- Drew Olson
Ben Ammerman -- Ryan Weston

Mike Lee
Logan Marks

haha don't get too worked up over this, outside of Roseau & Moorhead i do not know much about any of the players....
