Best championship match-up

Post by Hillhockey000 »

In your opinion, what championship match up would you most like to see? I'd like to see Hill-Edina (of course I'm not bias at all  O:) ) but I'd think Hill-Woodbury would be great just because of the sheer number of kids that go to Hill from Woodbury.

id agree with the woodbury-hill matchup. woodbury beating hill last year in consolation, even if there were plenty of excuses made (some of which i admit were legitimate) still cant sit too well with the pioneers. also, all the woodbury kids that go to hill would make it the perfect private vs. public battle.

if this one could somehow go down though, do expect to hear plenty of "sit down cecka" cheers like last year  (there's my bias for ya)

Best on the ice matchup is without a doubt Roseau/Edina. Best matchup in the stands would have to be Woodbury/Hill.
Everyone hates private schools (and Edina)!!

Roseau-Edina that would be a classic. I would salivate over that championship. \:D/

id go with Roseau vs. Edina/Benilde

it will be interesting to see if edina and benilde play again how that game goes but definately the winner if they do end up playing will create a great matchup against roseau assuming they make it

Roseau/Edina. A state tournament classic match-up between the top two teams in the state.

Cloquet vs. Lakeville South would be a fun one.

In reality, though, I'm dreaming of Edina-Roseau for Saturday, to the point where I actually want Edina to win so I can see this matchup.

Gotta go with Roseau vs BSM with the Rams repeating! Edina is just not that good! 8)

I think Hill vs. Woodbury will definitely be best for fans. Hill vs. Benilde is the matchup I want to see, but the best match-up is probably Edina vs. Roseau.

I'm pulling for section 7 Cloquet. They have gotten hot at the right time.
However, Edina and Roseau would be a classic matchup.

I'll be cheering for Cloquet in the 1st round matchup, and I would love to see some upsets along the way in the other games, but an Edina - Roseau championship game would be great, and I would hope it would live up to the hype!

I want to see a Green-n-White vs. White-n-Green championship game.

It would put to rest the debate that's been raging for months: Who's the best team in the state, Roseau or Edina?
