(it sounds like a blow out but the Wessy's played strong and I wouldn't be suprised if they make it to state anyway.)

ya we got spanked by rave i must admit, but in all fairness they played a great game and we didnt play up to par. it wasnt as bad the first 2 periods, it was really close and the shots were about even the only difference is they finished and we didnt, we went into the 3 period losing 1-3 but when they got there 4th one our goalie just got really frustrated and so did our team so they just got a bunch of breakaways on us and padded the score

we lost a heartbreaker. if anyone saw that game even if u were from wayzata please have the dignity to say that we clearly should have won that game. its sad that a couple of people can lose an entire season for whole team of hardworking players.

as much as i think wayzata is not a bad team i will say they do not belong in the state tourny. u can say watever u like but there victory oozed with gallons of luck. but hey sometimes thats what it takes. good luck to the rest of the teams i hope u guys have a good time.

Playoffs are the time of the year were one or two bounces can win a game and unfortunately you guys were the victims of just that today. I thought that you guys (Wessy's) did a great job at tying it up in the last minute and forcing OT. It sucks when you have teammates that think they are above the team and either take selfish penalties, or make selfish plays because they want to prove they are the tough guys on the ice.

Sorry WB - I was pulling for you guys. I have a lot of respect for how most of your guys play and how you work your butts off and never give up. You should be very proud of what you've accomplished. Sorry it didn't continue into State. You should be there!
