Roseau 4
Blaine 2
If Roseau can score 3 goals in a game I don't think anyone can beat them.

Blaine has the best chance of anyone in this bracket to knock off Roseau. I think rams win by 2 or 3 though on good ice and conditions. Who knows though - anything can happen at the X. :?

Blaine comes in loose and confident after the 1-0 loss earlier onteh outdoor rink.
Unfortunately, Roseau comes in confident and ready to win.
Roseau 6 - 2.

Correct. No one is going to put four biscuits past Mike Lee.

After 28 games, only two teams have scored even three goals against Lee. Six games with two goals against, seven games with only one goal against, and all the rest were shutouts.

Hey bobcat

what are the chances of getting a bill lund interview at the state tourney? or wont the red dragon allow that. he has great insight as to what goes on in the locker room and out on the rink. I know i'm not the only former ram who wants to hear what he has to say. I'll be listening to you and Z man on the 6th. go rams!!

Roseau-Blaine game

Post by OldTexasRam »

Seems odd that the number 1 ranked team should have to play Blaine, a higher ranked team than teams 2, 3 & 4 play against in the first round. And then, they be placed in the same bracket as Hill, who was ranked higher than Benilde.

I smell a rat!!

No matter...Roseau will just go out and play great hockey and the final will feature the finest of high school hockey between the two green & white teams.

Roseau by 4 over Blaine

I agree with you Gov's if Roseau is going to win it will have to be 3 wins against 3 very good teams.

Could'nt have asked for anthing better than Blaine in the first round.(well except Centennial).

I would'nt say quite confident, I just think in Roseau's case with all the weak schedule talk they have a chance to win it, with 3 tough games.

There are several teams with a shot at it. It won't be easy but I feel they have a good chance. Hopefully they win it all.

Go Rams !!

Correction: Levi Nelson played one of those 3 goal games and one of the 2 goal games. Jefferson is the only team to put three up against Lee.

Roseau v Blaine????

Post by dejayel »

How Blaine wins......Roseau pulls goalie, skates one short for entire third period and Blaine scores twice to win 5-4.
The big question is why is Edina still ranked number one when Roseau is undefeated.

Actually, I don't think the Rams were ever ranked second this year. I think they were tied with Edina for the top spot for awhile... Regardless, who cares about rankings. The boys need to play their best hockey, if they are gonna bring home the hardware again. They will be playing some tough teams.

By the way--and maybe I shouldn't be saying this--but isn't Mike Lee 38 and 0 over the past two years? Also, if I recall, he's only let in 3 goals on one occasion during this time. I hope he and the boys can keep up the awesome defensive play! [-o< You will not lose, if your opponent can't score.

Dude, Roseau would win this thing if the games were: Hill-Murray, then BSM, and then Edina.

This is a repeat championship in the works! The only real question is whether or not Mike Lee is going to shut 'em all out...
