You pick up on things rather quickly.Pioneerprideguy wrote:I think I need a program here. Then he transfered to North, but still played hockey at Johnson?

Yes. I would of thought Hill people would have the transfer rule memorized.Pioneerprideguy wrote:I think I need a program here. Well, I guess he made the right decision.wbmd wrote:Imagine that - Hill-Murray missed out on a transfer.Neutron 14 wrote:Well he could have transfered to Hill too, but he still would have had to play hockey at Harding.. Yep. Because he played it smart and kept with the public schools.Pioneerprideguy wrote:Well, I guess he made the right decision.wbmd wrote:Imagine that - Hill-Murray missed out on a transfer.Neutron 14 wrote: Well he could have transfered to Hill too, but he still would have had to play hockey at Harding.. I thought Saturday' games were, for the most part, as good as quarterfinals are going to get. A quick review:
HM 8 NSP 0 About what you would expect. I thought Hill's first two goals were a bit soft, but they put on a finishing clinic after that. Zepeda's injury could be a key story if he is unable to play at near 100%, esecially if Hill makes it to the final.
Roseville 5 Johnson 2 Kudos to Johnson fo an inspired effort, but the numbers game caught up with them. You could almost see the Govies running out of gas as the game went on. Rubbelke is a fine player, as is Adam Mueller for Roseville.
WBL 8 Tartan 1 I was extremely dsappointed with the Titans' effort in this one. White Bear, on the other hand, looked like a team that is quite capable of winning the section championship.
Mounds View 2 Stillwater 1 OT An exciting game, but not a particularly well played one. I thought Stillwater looked like the beter team for much of the game, but, as usual, they couldn't pu the puck in th net, or even on the net, when they created chances.
Based just on Saturday's game, I'd rank the teams in the section like this: 1. Whte Bear Lake
2. Hill-Murray
3. Roseville
4. Johnson
5. Stillwater
6. Mounds View
7. North St. Paul
8. Tartan
As for the semis, I think Hill has too much talent for Mounds View. I'll say 5-1 for the Pioneers. In the late game, I like White Bear to get by Roseville 4-3. Another Hill-White Bear final seems to be in the future.

That's how I felt. I did say it was the best game of the day probably for the fact that it went into OT and did have it's exciting moments. Any word on the Stillwater kid who left the game on a stretcher? I wish the kid a full & speedy recovery.

It was almost frustrating to watch the 4/5 game. Stillwater had so many chances by just couldn't find net. Did anyone else catch it when Stillwater scored their goal to send it to OT and they jumped right into the glass directly in front of the White Bear fans wearing some old time hockey jerseys? It's nice to see that even other schools appreciate White Bear's fans
Aaahh, douche.
