first round of the playoffs, is Kennedy going to be up for their potential 1st win of the season, or will the Hornets crush their dreams

The votes tell it all.

Remember when coach used to say that the playoffs are a new season? Kennedy kids are going to take that to heart and give Edina's goalie sun burn...

I'd say Edina will be lucky to keep it under running time...

I didn't vote... the poll isn't necessary. If you post a ridiculous poll, expect ridiculous results. The fact that you'd refer to everybody as "clowns" tells me that you're missing the point.

I think 21/28 people who voted (at the time of this posting) agree with me that there's probably no need for a poll on this one  . Open a thread to discuss the game if you want - but what did you think was going to happen with the poll? Honestly.

Govs nailed it.... the poll was not a wise move...but the game is ok to discuss.
I like the games where there is a serious underdog like this.
(Probably because I've been in that situation so many times.)
These Kennedy kids have been through no less a hockey experience then the Hornets, and I'm sure will play their best game, whether it's good enough to win is unlikely, but for many it's their last hockey game.

Good Luck boys! :D

Fun thread! I think the answer is obvious.

Go Kennedy! Do Bloomington proud.

I'd love to see an upset just to see what the Edina fans have to say.
I don't think a person could make excuses if this happened.

Nobody'd make excuses. I'm sure the universal sentiment would be that people felt there was no way Edina could lose to Kennedy and that the boys from Bloomington should be commended for pulling off an upset bigger than Rulon Gardner.

And people would add that it was an uncharacteristically horrible game for Edina.

Now, what will they say when it it 8-2? That's more likely than losing.
Be kind. Rewind.

Kennedy has nothing to lose in this game..Edina has everything to lose!

BUT still, edina SHOULD win this game..but its people like you hockeyfan43 that make people want Edina to lose.
