First Goal
first goal definatly came against Holy Angels, felt so good to get one against those guys.
"Two minutes well worth it."
First Goal
First goal was against Rochester Mayo on a 2 on 1. My linemate took kept the puck and took a shot, I drove to the net and top shelfed the rebound.
Prior to that, I had 2 assists in the game. I was award the game puck in the locker room after our first win ever against Mayo.
It was a good night and I remember it like it happened yesterday....

OK, so am I the only nerd who still has the puck?
It's in a cupboard or drawer somewhere, labeled. It's not like I keep it as a treasured possession, or anything, but my teammates went out of their way to get it for me, so I've always felt like it's important to keep it.
It was my junior year. Don't remember the score, but the game was well in-hand, so us 4th liners are getting plenty of ice. Under 30 seconds to go, we get a 2 on 1. I'm coming down the off-wing, my teammate gives me a pass too far in front (about top of the circle). I stop it with my backhand. Nobody is especially hustling at this point; I saw I had plenty of time to shoot, so I let go a semi-slap shot low blocker side. Goalie deflects it with his stick, but inside the post. I don't think anyone was more surprised than me.
It was against St. Louis Park. But hey, they had Rasmussen!
