i'm pretty sure their first year with a varsity team was 93. before that i think they just had a midget team.

You're probably playing around but you asked the question so I'll answer it. Williams is half way between Warroad and Baudette. In the 50's they were the goods along with the other dinosaurs; Hallock, Warroad, Baudette, Roseau, TRF, and YES RLF and Crookston were playing then too.

It could be PR's time, they must strike while the iron's hot.

PR has to get it done this year...cause after this year it's going to be ugly

Actually ,I believe it was the season of 1992-93 that PR had it's Boys Varsity H.S. debut.
The artificial ice system was installed summer 1992(I remember the parent volunteers hand tying the rebar together before the ready-mix was poured) & a deal/contract was cooked up with the school district to allow play under MSHSL if the PR Hockey Association covered ALL the expenses. This contract was good thru 2004 when it was renewed to proceed at the same deal/contract thru (I believe)2014.
So,the PR program really is in it's infancy compared to many of 8A teams.

I havent been going to class cause this hockey stuff wont leave my mind...im already (been for a week now) pumped....lots of hockey this weekend..including ND state HS hockey....2 sioux games...and 8a sections...what more could i ask for....great stuff

GO PR and Sioux.....(although id like to see # 26 on BSU put a few in)....

(My thoughts for the day)

Anyone have ANY upsets for the play in round??
