Last thing,
Its an amazing thing when heart comes before skill. Let your team know, that heart sometimes outweighs the greatest skill in the world.
My prediction for the playoffs were, the 2 East teams and we would be playing for 3rd. But I did throw some money around saying that Moose Lake or Hermantown would upset one of the East teams. After watching tonight, and the Hermantown game yesterday, I definitely wouldn't take Hermantown lightly.
I will probably be there to watch on Wednesday, I wish you guys luck. I hope you don't look past Hermantown. There smaller goalie is one my favorites in District 11, and he will tough to beat.

By the way, #12's name is Christopher Gassert. When I talk heart, this kid has one of the biggest hearts I've ever seen. Small kid, but huge heart, and huge ability. Its been fun too watch him over the years! I look forward to the High school years!!!Duluth 4 wrote:ya as the captain i know that and my job is to get the team to know that... that #12 u guys got is pretty good.bigpoppababy wrote:Hey Duluth4,

Dives my bleep... or maybe your a swimming coach and have some expertise in that area? Orange was mugged the entire 3rd period. Why didn't U mention all the non calls. Anyway they will be there Saturday (all 2 1/2 of them) and good luck to U guys & all the WBL teams that are in...(BA) (PWA) (PWB Orange)Bearhockey13 wrote:There was some incredibly sweet "dives" to create those penalties, WBO goalie was the difference in the game, he has been solid all year.StoppatchFairplayHelmets0 wrote:From D2 playoffs...
WBL Black 4 Roseville 3
WBL Orange 4 Stillwater 2
Both WBL teams will gain a seed in Regions
It's a very good assumption that Stillwater will come through the back door and meet up with whomever loses the Championship game of Black vs Orange (on Saturday @ 10:15am) for the other seed to Regions.
I give a lot of credit to Roseville for not going away in their game despite having been out shot 2-1
In the Stillwater game...They out shoot WBL Orange 2-1 and take some costly penalties late in game which proved to be the difference. The goalie for Orange made some incredible saves to keep his team in the game.
WB Black also looked good, as did Roseville, I think it was just a fun day of hockey all around.
I haven't looked, did the A Peewee's and A Bantams make it also?? How about the B peewee teams??
Oh, BTW did U see my new(er) trailer outside the arena, I picked up a used one. The seller and I, got ta talkin bout hockey and stuff and pretty soon ya know the price was too good to pass up on if ya know what I'm talkin bout.

high blocker side and almost every save he goes down and leaves the far side wide open. put someone there. Last night every shot was put right in his glove, wasn't even tested. His D did a good job of tying up the front of the net. We've scored nine on him this year, don't let the size fool you. As far as goalies go big doesn't mean better. Last night the DE goalie kept it close (saved 23 of 25), except for giving up a bad first one, with the puck in his end almost the whole game. Tough to win if your not in the other end taking some shots.Duluth 4 wrote:true.. whats his weekness?
District 1
MPLS*Park 3
Johnson 0
MPLS*Park claims a (South) regional spot tonight with the win. What seed still to be determined. Johnson was scrappy and tough and in their playoff mode.
Tomorrow night (Wednesday) is Richfield vs Highland. Winner will also claim a regional spot. Loser goes to the double elimination side to fight for the third spot.

Re: D8 B- Bantams playoffs
How many STA players (and coaches) had to sit last night's game out? I heard that STA had well over 15 penalties in their game against Woodbury a few nights ago, so at the very least I'm guessing the STA coach was DQ'd from last night's game.5holesniper wrote:STA 2
