State Tournament Tickets - How do I get them?
I have a couple of sons and friends that are in High School that want to make a week out of the tournament which coincidentally falls on their Spring Break. From a small school outside of the metro and have already booked them a hotel room at the Kelley Inn. Is there anyway I can ensure that they get tickets without making them stand in line before the sessions? Or am I going to have to pay a ridiculous amount of money on an e-broker?
Thanks for all help/suggestions!

Class A tickets - no problem, as they are available at the door.mnhockeyguy04 wrote:I have a couple of sons and friends that are in High School that want to make a week out of the tournament which coincidentally falls on their Spring Break. Class AA tickets - they are going to have to work a little harder for. E-broker or someone on the opposite side of Kellogg (can't scalp on X property anymore) should be able to help them out.

I didn't have any problems walking up to the door for tickets. For the first round, AA, I did get them through my school, but after hill got bounced I got there a little while before the first game of the session and didn't have any problems. The even worked for the championship game.

Try McGovern's at 10AM to Noon on Thursday, always tickets floating around there...Puckguy19 wrote:Class A tickets - no problem, as they are available at the door.mnhockeyguy04 wrote:I have a couple of sons and friends that are in High School that want to make a week out of the tournament which coincidentally falls on their Spring Break. if you want A you will have no problem buying them at the door but for the AA it will be a bit harder you can get on the waiting list at MSHSL.com but that will get you them in a year or two or you van try E-book or the scalpers on the opposite side of kellogg but both of those will cost you a little bit

I already did that if you read my first post. E-broker tickets are costing 55-100 dollars for session passes, when face price is 11$. For some reason, I don't think high school kids will go for it.Nostalgic Nerd wrote:http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=mn ... ey+tickets

No, you have to buy tickets for each individual session at the door. The only day that you really have to worry about is Thursday, because they have 19,000 + that day. If there is a team in your area that makes the tourney, I would suggest going to that school and buying tickets for their session. I haven't ever been turned down for ticket while standing in line, but it is a hassle standing out there for an hour or two.

What time would you recommend standing in line?Lucia4President wrote:No, you have to buy tickets for each individual session at the door. Probably right as you leave a session, you might want to hop in line for the next one.mnhockeyguy04 wrote:What time would you recommend standing in line?Lucia4President wrote:No, you have to buy tickets for each individual session at the door. So after then win there section do the state tourney tickets go on sale the next day? Do you have to be a student or live in that town? How does that all work?
