Just when I was resigned to the fact that Greenway would be one and done, they give me a reason to get a little excited. Let's see if they can build some momentum by beating Denfeld this weekend.

Greenway / Nashwauk - Keewatin 7, Bemidji 2
Hodgins-Berardo Arena, Coleraine -- Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin avenged a 4-1 holiday tournament loss to Bemidji in spectacular fashion, hammering the Lumberjacks 7-2 at Hodgins-Berardo Arena in Coleraine. Alex Guyer and Adam Mendoza lead the way for the Raiders with two goals and three assists apiece while Cody Strom chipped in with a pair of goals and one assist. Garret Orhn collected three assists. The Raiders did most of the damage in their four goal second period in building a 5-1 lead heading into the final stanza. Erkiur Arnason was the winning goaltender for Greenway, stopping 20 Lumberjack shots. Derek Dudgeon took the loss in goal for Bemidji with 18 saves while splitting some time with Cole Isensee, who stopped 9 in a short stint late in the second and into the third period.
