Duluth Marshall and International Falls don't get "byes." They play the winners of the play-in games.

Looks just like everyone thought it would. The top four should be battling out to go to St. Paul.

Yep, shouldn't be any gripes with the seeding. Brackets are up here at prephockeynorth.com. Links to game previews should be available shortly as well.

looks like everything is about where i thought it'd be. im guessing the top four seeds will move in to the semi's but im not so sure about the Greenway Virginia game. im looking for the raiders to pull and upset. still keeping the same thoughts about the finals.. Hibbing and Duluth Marshall with Marshall takin' a trip to the X.

This will be interesting. Its set up for Marshall who will no doubt get to the finals. It then comes down to Falls and Hibbing in the Semis in Rapids. Should be a great game. Jackets and Marshall in the final and from there who knows anything can happen its playoffs.

If Hart can give us a couple more games in the net like he did against Roseau, I'll take IF all the way to St. Paul

Obviously I want the Broncos, but as long as one of these teams takes it all, I'm pretty content.

Hibbing has a good shot at making it to the X if Sandstrom stays hot but i can't see them beating the Falls twice in one year. Youso is just too good. Either way the finals at the DECC should be pretty intense.

I'm pretty sure you don't follow 7A a whole lot if your reasoning is Youso is too good. Youso by himself can't and won't shut the Bluejackets down in the playoffs. Youso's a good player but if I-Falls beats Hibbing it will take more than that.

I'm pretty sure you don't follow the Falls a whole lot especially if your basing your opinion on the game Hibbing beat them in Hibbing which is probably the only game you've actully seen them play. Youso is a good enough player to take the game into his own hands. Hibbing did a nice job of shutting him down last time but i still think they lack the depth to beat them again. Other than DeCenzo and Jamnick i'm not impressed with Hibbing this year but Hibbing has been known to turn it on come playoff time.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that. I was at the Virginia/Marshall game just a handful of days ago. Virginia could've won that one.

I think people are getting the wrong idea about Virginia because of the final score of that Hibbing game. That game was a 2-1 game with under six minutes left. Don't forget that the Marshall game was 1-1 with 35 seconds left as well. Any team that comes into a game with the mentallity that they've got a cakewalk will probably be going home.

I doubt Greenway will beat Virginia. Any momentum they might have had from their win over Bemidji was wiped away by Denfeld last night. They aren't quite there yet and there will be a lot of pressure on an 8th grader to keep them in the game. Hibbing buried them pretty good a couple games back as well. The only way Greenway wins is if Virginia is looking past them to Duluth Marshall, whom I know they feel they got a little snake-bitten against at the end of their prior meeting.

This is still a four team race.

when i posted that greenway may pull the upset over virginia was after virginia lost to Princeton and greenway pounded on Bemidji. NOw that the hunters took it to the raiders i may take that back and agree with you Puck. I also believe it is a 4 team race. Greenway is the ONLY team i can see upsetting a higher seed in the first round, but yeah not going to happen

The only two teams that would represent this section well in St. Paul are I. Falls and Marshall. 8)
