The other 150 schools have a combined 9.3% change of winning it.

I should have provided the math.

You're laying 9:1? And I get the field?

Okay. What are stakes? I'll risk up to 15 large. Any more than that and I'm worried about repayment.

I'm on this bet all day. Name the stakes.

Roseau has played no one. they will not win. edina, tonka, benilde all have a better shot than roseau.

I use repayment versus payment because I'll first place the bet with the house, in this case you. If Roseau does not repeat the money is returned, plus winnings.

I'm game. Name the stakes.

You are delusional. 90%? Has any team in Minnesota history ever had a 90% chance of winning state before sections start?

I'd like to see your math. Minnetonka and Benilde have better shots than Roseau? I think they're about as good as any teams in the state, but they're in Section VI together and it doesn't exactly help their odds.

yeah thanks for cluing me in. let me clarify....edina, benilde, minnetonka have a better chance of winning state (depending of course if they make it to st. paul) than roseau (depending, of course if they make it to st. paul). what makes you think that roseau has what it takes?

I'm a little confused on the math here.

Roseau has played a few good teams and beat them all, they are the front runner.

Both Edina and Benilde played in the B-squad holiday tourney, neither won. Benilde beating Edina losing to a team who's lost twice to Hill and once to Minnetonka.

Benilde has a weak schedule and has come out on the short end of the stick with 3 of the 5 good teams they've played.

Edina has beaten Tonka (and everyone else for that matter).

Minnetonka won the Gold Division handily. Also lost to Hopkins.

Hill? They got handled by Tonka, lost to Holy Angels and tied South St Paul, need I say more?

In addition, Benilde's in Tonka's section...

Roseau 40%
Edina 26%
Tonka 24%
Anyone else 10%
