This is how I think things go after tonight.
1. Warroad
2. EGF or Trf
3. TRf or EGF
4. Park
5. Bemidji
6. Hallock
7. Crox
8. Low.
I only wish that park would get the #3 seed so they could get their butts kicked by EGF or TRf in the Semi finals but I don't see them getting any higher than # 4

My Guess:
Warroad
EGF
TRF
Bemidji
Hallock
Park Rapids
Lake of the Woods
Crookston
RLF
Bagley
Walker
Not sure about Hallock and PR though, but after tonights loss i could see it go this way. Those of you that are still hoping for a 3 or higher seed for PR need to come to grips with the losses you had...like i said before, be very happy with a 5 seed at this point.

sec 8
elliot: I'm just saying that bemidji has alot more people with money than warroad or trf. those lake homes average what? about $500,000 each?
you say"And if TRF and Warroad would have built their rinks without their benefactors I would say, yes, we should.
Oh, that's right, our community has built three rinks already.
go out and find those benefactors! is there no bsu alumni with $$ ? they're out there! and you should realize that warroad and trf have also built 3 rinks!

Yes, I know.
But what you do not understand this is not just a hockey rink. This is BSU's hockey rink. The HS will not play there, nor youth hockey. We have built them a rink, 3 to be exact. Three rinks, government money involved, $200,000, between all three.
Local committment of money, time, labor, materials. Bemidji has stepped forward and you are right, Bemidji is bigger than TRF, EGF, Warroad...
But you don't kow our population. Sure, big houses on the lakes. But most are not in the city of Bemidji. And believe me there aer alot more people living in 10 by 70's. We are not all wealthy jsut becasue we have Target and Wal-Mart and a bunch of fast food places. Bemdji is growing and growing a lot faster than other places, but that does not mean there is a lot wealth. Wealth that can throw $3 million, $10 millin at an 'arena' project. If this had been an arena project not very many of us would have voted 'yes', a year and a half ago.
The U has two rinks (mens and womens), the DECC, St Cloud State, Mankato...
the state has been involved in all of these.
Other event centers/whatever around the state have used state money.
And those BSU alum are being tapped to help BSU out with the athletic department already (and to some extent with the rink).
I am sure you would not want to see BSU athletics (not just hockey) go away.

2 bad, bad losses by PR will not help them sway the hearts and minds of the section coaches. If PR gets the 4 seed they should consider themselves fortunate, and a 5 seed is not out of the question. This is very similar to Detroit Lakes a couple years ago. They had a star and a supporting cast but some embarrassing losses hurt their seeding chances. It'll all be decided soon.
