2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup

Post by sinbin006 »

Dale Earnhardt Jr. wins the Bud Shootout. Jimmie Johnson wins the pole for the Daytona 500. Will it be another dominating year for Hendrick Motorsports? Any predictions on who'll win the Daytona 500?

I don't think I'll be alone in not finding 40 guys drive in a circle amusing.

Didn't Tony Stewart just punch Kurt Busch in the face last night? I'm interested in that!

From NASCAR.com :
NASCAR officials summoned Stewart and Busch for a follow-up meeting Saturday, a day after the two drivers tangled on the track -- and possibly in the NASCAR officials' trailer afterward. The entire garage was buzzing over Busch allegedly insulting Stewart and Stewart retaliating with a punch -- claims no one would confirm or deny.
What happens in the trailer, stays in the trailer...no pun intended

BS... they should allow it. Make a cross between hockey and road rage. One guy rubs another - that guy gets mad and waves him off the to side of the track, everybody else goes under a yellow flag while those two duke it out on the infield.

You think NASCAR is crowing by leaps and bounds now? Let them do that, and you've got yourself a Super Bowl on Red Bull!

Hendrick Motorsports is all that you need to know.

Beyond that, I get my fill of racing just watching SC on Sunday nights.

well the last few years the poll driver has not faired well. like last 5 years havent even came close to winning.. kinda weird. but i think Jimmie JOhnson has a pretty good chance at ruining that and winning it this year..

As usual the best time to watch a race is at the end. Great job Newman although my boy JR. didn't take it he would of been my 2nd. choice.

If Dale Jarrett would grow his mustache again, I gaurantee he'd win this year.

I like Gov's idea - I would watch then.

I just can't get into watching drivers go fast and turn left while still needing a GPS system to do so
