fantasy baseball!

Post by Mr. McTabish »

I got the fever early this year, and Govs93 pointed out that yahoo! put up the baseball leagues, so I registered the minnhock league.

I kept the same settings as last year, we can keep it democratic, if we want to change anything-speak up!

Also, stupid yahoo! was jerks, and they really cut down the times and dates you can have a live draft. They want you to pay for the upgrade to get more flexable live draft time options. That's capitalism for ya.

The only weekend dates are February 17th at 8 or 9 a.m., and 23rd at 8 a.m. Or on weekdays, they limit your live draft times, to 8 a.m. through like noon. Completely inconvenient. So my suggestion, is we all do pre-rankings, and do the automatic draft. I hate the suggestion, I hate not picking my own team, but it seems most logical as most of us would be at work during the week, unless we can get a bunch of us to get up on one of the weekend dates.

Thoughts?

You need the League ID #, not the name.

You fixed it already. You're quick...

Yup. and a veeerrryyyy big P.S....

P.S. DO NOT JOIN IF YOU DO NOT PLAN TO PLAY ALL SEASON LONG. EVERY YEAR SOMEONE RUINS IT-DO NOT BE THAT GUY BECAUSE PEOPLE HATE THAT GUY. And he sucks. I think in last years baseball league we only had maybe one or two quitters, but in the hockey league like half the people quit a week or two into the season. Don't join if you don't want to play. Don't waste our time. Go join a public yahoo! league if you have only mild interest.

I'm in a couple money leagues. I'll be around...

P.S. Yahoo! opens up more draft times every week or so. Keep checking back. We need a Live draft.

Yeah - I agree with schwang... it has to be a live draft, and he's right about them opening up additional draft times. Keep an eye on it. My preference would be to actually draft it sometime later in March. February seems way too early.

I agree- me too!

Besides there is still about 12 weeks remaining in the English Premier League Fantasy Futbol Season and I still have a chance to win two league titles and be promoted for next season

I agree, I wanted a live draft as well, I just didn't know they open more times.

I just checked, and already they have a bunch more options for me to pick from.

Right now, I have the draft set for Sunday, March 16th at 9:30pm. I would prefer to start it a little earlier, but that was all I could pick from. We can change this if we need to.

I agree with the live draft, and also with not rushing it. We've got time. Let's see who gets injured in spring training first ....

It's encouraged. In fact, I plan on drafting strictly from the Mitchell Report Pick 'Em thread.

I think I've got a real shot (so to speak).

I sold that to your sister. Said she needed more seat room. (What ever that means.)
