Sick of Gorg.............anyone else

Who's Burnsview? When did he get to be such pals with BARNSY? And did ALL the announcers who ever coined a phrase send him a list so he could use on air? And why does he talk soooooo much during the play? One last thing, will he be disciplined for his chinese fire drill remark?

Not that it really matters but Gorg was so obsessed with barnes and henderickson it got border-line gross. He wouldnt stop talking about them and went on and on. I agree they are good players, but he acted like he was best friends with them and knew everything about them.. Give me a break, and maybe, just maybe you could mention that EV does have two D1 players also on the team... and possibly 3 with Larson.

I also never said fire the guy. Maybe just don't let him do color commentary for games anymore. Perhaps more of a behind the scenes guy. And I wouldn't worry too much about FSN taking away high school broadcasts because people complain about Gorg. That's just a ridiculous notion. I'm in agreement with an earlier poster who said he has the right to complain, after all, it's our dollars that make this thing go. Get off the high horse and let us complain if we want.

If many others before him made unintentional racial remarks while trying to be funny and were disciplined, why not him? That comment didn't sound too professional to me. And he played the part of a stalker quite well in the hallways of Burnsville High.

why not just cancel your cable service, or just put your T.V. on mute so you don't have to willingly listen to Gorg anymore. Then you wouldn't have complain everyday.

Just saw on the news that Gorg and Anthony LaPanta were in a serious accident coming home from up north this weekend. Gorg hit a snow drift in the road and his van rolled three times. luckily everyone was ok.

do you think they have professional writers helping to script out their intermission segments like a major braodcast network...ahhh no

he's a regular guy who loves hockey trying to hype the game.

most of us would look ridiculous as well...at least he's not dry and boring...yes he acts like a boob sometimes, but so what he's helping to promote high school hockey and we all love that

yes the Burnsville visit was a little strange at times..he maybe tried too hard.
But I liked the visit to the school theme...it reminded me of the high school hockey tourney coverage of old when they did the cheesey "hang out at the schoo"l segments during the intermissions.

But would we rather have Marny Gellner or a male version of her....someone who never played and doesn't really care about what sport their broadcasting...only there for the job and the paycheck
(sorry Marny...very attractive in person, pregnant and all, but you were in Apple Valley, but it was Eastview that was playing and not AV as you kept refering)

I like ol' Gorgie. I think those guys said it perfect when they said he brings energy to the broadcast. Yes the players also bring energy, but would you rather have someone like Paul Harvey doing color commentary. Gorg makes the broadcasts fun to listen to. I mean everybody on this board knows EVERYTHING
