Anoka vs. GR on 1/26/08
Let's just leave it at this...by beating Blaine (who recently lost to DE 1-0 and hammered Cloquet 7-1) Centennial (who lost to DE 8-2, then bounced back to beat them in an OT shoot-out) Grand Rapids (who beat and tied Cloquet) and ER twice (who beat DE 5-3)...during the past month while winning 10 of 11 games...Anoka has proved they're a pretty good team....how far they'll go in the Section 7AA play-offs...who knows? I guess we'll find out in February.rapidsrapids wrote:They can have a regular season game. Rapids will bury them in the playoffs.Neutron 14 wrote:Anoka deserved to win.
I stated during the pre-season that Anoka & DE have the most horses...I stand by that assessment....but the reality is any of about 4 or 5 teams in Section 7AA have a decent chance of advancing to State (in this single elimination format).
This post (about 4 back) from Boblee should have ended this thread on a high note:
"I just want to say that I agree with the last 4-6 posts. I am glad we can all agree on something and look at the big picture. There is a lot more to life than hockey, a lot more.".
Let's move on...

Your more than welcome to. Me, I like it here.hockey59 wrote:Let's move on...
Its about time Anoka started playing up to their pre-season expectations. What happened for them to turn it around? Can/will they relapse?
