Stoneridge isn't worth the money when for 10 more bucks you can play Troy Burne. White Eagle is a great value!
The only soft spot I see is the one between my legs

Iron Horse is a great track down there. Pretty cheap too. Another would be Alvamar or Overland Park. Its been a whille, but I remember them to be decent.

FYI- Chaska TC could be the best public course around (dollar for dollar)!

Agreed. We hit Troy Burne every year in the fall for their special... $79. I just waste time on courses all summer just to tune up for the Burne.

I also dig Deer Run. It's short, but I always seem to play relatively well there for some reason.

Brainerd: Pines, Classic and Deacons..great "up north" courses.

Duluth: Northland CC.. geat views of the Lake and fun course

Way North: Wilderness at Fortunes Bay , Giants Ridge, Quarry .. a slight upgrade from the Brainerd courses but pretty far away.

Out west: Dakotah Ridge...outstanding links course, really a treat. Worth the drive.

Rochester CC...a classic fun course.

Twin Cities: The Wilds..great course, very challenging but still fun.

20 years ago it was Keller and the private clubs. All the courses up north were resort courses that were really cheesy.

Now, we are so lucky to live in MN and have so many golf options....well, except for today.
