Would have to be Moss. He disappeared from football greatness while in Oakland and New England basically stole him in the off season. He was labled a loser and washed up, and a team killer with his attitude, but this season(until last week)he's been trouble free, and playing at his highest level. Granted, the system he's in hasn't hurt, but he's still an incredible athlete.

Compared to this year, Favre's season last season was average at best.EREmpireStrikesBack wrote:What signifies having a comeback? Favre was decent last year.

Yeah, but Brady wasn't coming off of a couple very disappointing seasons in a row.EREmpireStrikesBack wrote:So was Brady's.boblee wrote:Compared to this year, Favre's season last season was average at best.EREmpireStrikesBack wrote:What signifies having a comeback? Favre was decent last year.

I disagree. I didn't see him in the SB the past couple years...boblee wrote:Yeah, but Brady wasn't coming off of a couple very disappointing seasons in a row.EREmpireStrikesBack wrote:So was Brady's.boblee wrote: Compared to this year, Favre's season last season was average at best.

I am talking statistically here. It seemed like Favre was throwing interceptions every 5 dropbacks the past couple of seasons.

Maybe it's the receivers. Both finally have a couple and now they can throw again.boblee wrote:I am talking statistically here. It seemed like Favre was throwing interceptions every 5 dropbacks the past couple of seasons.

Frank Thomas? That was so '06. I think he acutally won Comeback Player of the Year in '06. His '07 year he got a fat contract for the Blue Jays and didn't do nearly as well as he did when he was when the A's plucked him out of the bargain bin. (Billy Beane = genius for the record)
I don't know if it would work to be able to "Comeback" two years in a row.

That is all,

moss could be it . but he plays when he wants to play. oakland was awful he was hurt sometimes but he really did nothing. and dominated the league with new england. maybe the quarter back has something to do with having good wide receivers?
