Cat Fight 1-24-08

Post by Neutron 14 »

#9 Blaine Bengals travel to #6 Centennial Cougars. The Cougars beat them at the Ice House 6 weeks ago, will Blaine return the favor in the city of Centennial?

Centennial: Jake Larson was back on the ice against Champlin, after missing the Anoka game with a "lower body" injury. He looked about 75%, but showed a lot of heart. The line of Pitlick(Jr), Hess(Jr), and Lovick(Soph) has been dominant. Its Tyler Strands turn in the nets, but after the "inconsistencies" in both Maple Grove and Anoka I'm wondering if Aus will ride Jack Hanna the rest of the way. Joe Schmitz is finally back to full strenght and playing like the Elite 1 player he is after a nasty bout of pneumonia in mid December that carried through the holidays. Kyle Stutz is playing very well also.

Blaine: ???

Gotta go with the Cougars in a close game 4-3.

And by the way, has anyone ever told you that the Ness kid from Roseau is Real good.

Well this thread wasn't quite what I was hoping for...

So I'll take Blaine (despite the fact I took Centennial in the Pick 'Em - I now feel misled).

Follow the puck has this as the #1 Game to watch today,(Just ahead of the Buffalo- Rogers game.....ok 3 games above it ) and Doug is predicting a 4-3 Cougar win.
Actually I think that they will up that margin by 1
I'll also take the Cougars!

I think the Panther of Park Rapids vs the Prowlers for TRF will be a better cat fight!

In your game i'll say the Bengals upset the cougars 4-3

Yeah, lure me in here with the right bait, only to disappoint! Where is truth in advertising when you need it. Consider me on the stringer (but really I'm no keeper)

Hey! Don't blame it on me... it's typical of a Centennial fan. First they can't tell us where the City of Centennial is, then they can't settle on a nickname, then they post "Cat Fight" and we end up with this. Something ain't right...
