Well now that they seed the teams, this question is even harder. We used to be able to look at who plays who and predict. Roseau and the Edina Section will be seeded in the top 4. So will Section 7. Roseau will walk into the semi's after beating Lakeville 6-0. Edina wants revenge on Grand Rapids. My final four pick right now is Roseau, Edina, Rosemount and Grand Rapids. Roseau to beat Rosemount and Edina to beat Grand Rapids. Rematch of the 1979 semi-final with Roseau winning in OT.

I think this is the consensus "dream matchup" for this years State Final...Hockeyboomer wrote:Well now that they seed the teams, this question is even harder. AA State Champ
Hockeyboomer:
I think you are overlooking the strength of Section 6 (Edina is in Section 2 for the next few years). The section 6 champ will be seeded ahead of Rosemount. Rosemount's section 3 will not be in the top 4.
My seeding projections:
1) Roseau (section
2) Edina (section 2)
3) Section 6 winner (Tonka, BSM, EP or Hopkins)
4) Section 7 winner (East, GR, Cloquet, or Anoka)
5) Section 4 winner (Hill, Roseville, or WBL)
6) Section 3 winner (Eastview, Rosemount, or Woodbury)
7) Section 5 winner (Blaine or Centennial)
Section 1 winner - whoever it is, these guys are roadkill...
Section 7 and 4 could flip-flop; otherwise I think the order is pretty good...
