It was alot of back and fourth rushes and was really exciting to watch. Delanos goalie did make some really good saves but he had 2 weak goals the 1st and the 3rd i believe.. well maybe delano dosnt have a shot, but we'll have to wait and see how they do against holy family and how orno does against scc without Ian wilson

Also if you couldn't figure it out Steelers33 was none other than the famous Brad Ryan. That guy was a fan of the steelers and his team last year. Your Tigers don't have a shot either. Your best game was a loss to Hopkins.
Are you trying to diss Delano cuz they lost 3-2 to Hopkins? Even Minnetonka couldn't beat them!! If you ask me, a Class A team losing to a huge Class AA team by one is an accomplishment... I'd love to see your team try and pull off the upset!!
MNHocker444 - were you at the Orono - Delano game? If so you must have been sitting in the lobby or maybe in the scorers box - they never get the shots right either. I heard the Orono Stat guy say the shots were O=49 D=33. Delano had at least 7 odd-man rushes, scoring on one. The final Delano goal was a pinball off of #4's skate w/no chance for the goalie. The Orono D pinched so much and left the weak side open to the speedy Delano wings. The Mound coach was there & I bet he noticed that weakness too. You should pay more attention to the games if you're going to post.
Huge matchup next Saturday (1/19) Orono at Mound Westonka.
No matter what the records are, or how they've been playing lately, these games are a blast to watch. One of the most underrated rivalries in the state, being so close in proximity, a lot of the kids know each other, and some actually have a true hatred, makes for great hockey!
If Orono has Ian Wilson back 'tween the pipes they take mound by a couple. Maybe 5-3. Mound is solid this year but with some injuries on both sides this game will not be a blowout. Unless orono has to start a different tender
Cannot wait to watch Orono and Mound. The two teams always put on a show to packed arena's. No matter how bad either or both teams are any given year its fun to watch. I gotta pick Orono though with wilson probably back and Horgan outta the line up.
Da' Spartans 3
Dem' Whitehawks 2
Colin Mayer gets 2 like the way he plays
wow i had no idea mound started their back up. Maybe they thought it would be an easier game than what it turned out to be. but litch always has some good upsets throughout the years. Like beating SCC 1 or 2 years ago and beating delano 2 years ago. They've got a pretty decent goalie. They are always a suprise team, but never usually having a good record.
Litch plays orono on thurs. i say Orono 5-2
and i think SCC and delano will tie 2-2 tues.

The original post was “who is going to win the conference”. Quit yapping about your favorite team's injuries and little rivalries....pick to most likely team with the number of games that have been played and games yet to be played.

Can't go off on tangents even if they are relevant to the Wright County Conference?
Myself, along with many others, would probably not want to have 30 threads started up about each Wright County game or individual player.
Orono 8
Litch 0
Shots completely lopsided wanna say 42-14 or something I think I heard.
Persian nets another hat trick, Persian's line looked unbeleivable tonight. Orono keeps it up like they did tonight Oh Billy look out Mound their on a mission.
Orono 2
Mound 1 O.T.
shots were I think 32-29 or something slightly favoring mound. Amazing atmosphere, physical game, Orono scores with 19 seconds left in O.T. to get the road victory.
