Brainerd is not strong either.
About 5 & 10 on the year.
Andover in a close game.

Hibbing is qbout 7 & 10 and playing better as of late.
I think they will come out strong in game 1 and beat Armstrong...get too cocky and not rest and lose to Andover...
I believe Andover has beat Monticello and Hibbing has lost to Monti... both pretty close games... so that could go either way... but as stated I think Andover will be ready and Hibbing will not.

But then you could be right.....

Don't rule out Faribault, them vs Blaine will be a better game than most of you would think.

I am excited to see what Fairibault is all about. I keep hearing a lot about them. If they are for real, thier first game against Blaine could be the best game of the tourney.

They don't play the toughest schedule so they aren't exactly used to playing the top teams like Blaine, but so far this year their only losses are in overtime to Lakeville South, and to Eagan 3-1.

6-0? Ouch, looks like Faribault's weak schedule really hurt them when they played a good team.

This was actually 4-3 in OT Shootout.
The shootout went 7 skaters deep on each side.
Fairbault was winning 2-0 going into the 3rd period.
Hibbing had more shoots throughout the game, but Fairbault had better chances. Fairbault had a 2 min PP in OT, but couldn't capitalize.
This was a good/fun game to watch.

Good/fun game to watch huh...your kidding right the refs at this tourney must have been picked up off the street or at the local bar or somethin they dint know what and wasnt a penalty hibbing scored there 1st goal wit 3 men in the crease and faribault played short handed 3/4 of the game concluding they had a total of 16 penalties to hibbings 3..1 being a quincidental

Oh, I'll agree that the officiating was not stellar by any stretch.
But YES, as a 3rd party bystander - just watching a hockey game.
This was a fun game to watch. Exciting 3 period, OT and Shootout.
I had fun watching this game - I am sorry that you did not.

Your spelling is immaculate.
Yeah, the game was a little grosse. That can happen when a team decides not to play hockey. Faribault plays a physical, some what cheap brand of hockey. I could see the game starting to fall apart halfway through the 2nd. I thought all the calls were worthy of penalties, but their was alot of no calls in their as well. Hibbing seemed to get a little bit more benefit out of the no calls.

Did the refs cost you the blaine game as well?
