Fastest Skater In the state?
Moderators: Mitch Hawker, east hockey, karl(east)
gleason or gardiner. if you did the nhl around the rink race it would be close. they might not be the quickest first few steps but both have good feet underneath them and can really get going. Gardiner looks taller than 6-1, my guess would be 6-2 or 6-3. He's only 17 and can skate with that frame...scary. It will be fun to see these guys play on the big sheets in the wcha.

I'd bet a cold one on Bobcat.CarGuy wrote:this is a pretty futile argument about who is the fastest skater...tough to chat about since most people do not have a chance to check out all the different players unless they play in the state tourney or on FSN....i for one would love to see a skills competition the on FSN the night b4 the state tourney begins...granted that would get in the way of the banquet and all...but it would be fun to see both class a and aa players together that have been nominated by coaches compete like they do in an nhl all star competition for fastest skater, hardest shot, shooting accuracy, and breakaways...not sure how much stock you can put into a competition like that when some of the best players will be more focused on winning the tourney, but i for one would love watching it with a cold beer in my hand on the couch.
