First of 2 meetings this season. Winner gets the early jump at #2 seed in 8AA.
Moorhead is down from previous years, Brainerd is a little better. Should be a pretty even matchup.
I'll take Moorhead in a close one... 4-3(OT)
Any thoughts, Predictions?

If Marks starts in net i don't think this game is close. spuds 5-1.
If Wagner starts then the could be close one but i still like the spuds 5-4.
I beleive this is Wagners game tomorrow.

They really should think about adding a spell-check feature to this forum.
But anyway, back to hockey.
I'm going to take Moorhead over the Warriors with 5-3 EN

I saw the first period of this game and it was 2-0 Spuds, and Moorhead looked like the better team, they were quick and moved the puck very well, and were being physical. Can anyone explain what happened?

Spuds looked pretty dominate in the first two peroids. Hugh let down in the third, Brainerd was out hitting and out skating the Spuds. Put the game at 3-2 on a slapper from outside the blueline, tied it up on a coast to coast play by Olson. Best players on the ice by far were Moorhead's Wheeler and Brainerd's Olson. Not overly impressed with Fraiser(sp)

Brainerd should of easily won this game it just took two periods for them to get into it.... and they almost won it in overtime off of a face off

Wheeler is a good player for them, when I left the game I thought Moorhead was gonna win no doubt by at least a couple goals. But kudos to Brainerd for stickin in it and gettin a tie in a big section game.
