Anoka vs. Coon Rapids

Post by hockey59 »

Anoka beat Coon Rapids tonight 7-4 and their first line scored all 7 goals.

John O'Neill had a 6 point night (1 goal and 5 assists) Scott with 2 goals and at least 1 assistBelisle with 2 goals and at least 2 assists...Dustin Olson and Tony Rush scored the other goals. Derek Louisel had 3 or 4 points for Coon Rapids.

It will be a barn-burner at 1:00 pm Saturday at Anoka Arena, Anoka vs. Duluth East...to bad this game isn't on FSN North...it should be.

Orono really should have won this one. they outshot wayzata and had the upper hand the whole game. wayzata was down 2 with about 1 minute left but tied it up and sent it to OT. Orono has finally pulled their heads out

Now that's an upset right there. Where did the real Holy Angels team go? Please stand up if you are the real Holy Angels team...
I will stand up for them.... What is wrong here. They are up 2 - 0, winning and you think that is bad? Are they supposed to beat teams 10 - 1 every night? I would say, NO. They ended up winning 5 - 0 and outshot PL 40 - 9. I do not thin that is too bad..... They also out played PL. The control was all with AHA. So they are not scoring 10 goals a game. They are young and improving with each game they play. And I believe that is the name of the game, not whether you win or lose but how you play the game....

Really? Wayzata scored the first goal and the shots were very close. To say Orono had the upper hand might be bit of a stretch, I'd say Orono had a major collapse when Wayzata came back with 2 goals to tie the game.
