Unfortunately not. I don't remember, in recent years, any Woodbury team being good.

The Woodbury Blue team is very solid in all aspects; offense, defense, goaltending, and coaching. Their record to date is 15-2, with wins against some quality teams including Stillwater, both Edina teams, and Wayzata Gold. The two losses were against Minnetonka and Centennial Red. So far the team has scored 71 goals and had 21 goals against. The two Woodbury B1 teams have not played each other yet but the B1 White team is excellent.

There are a lot of very talented teams at the B1 level and this should be an entertaining season.

Last year Woodbury had a Bantam B2 team that went 42-1-1, which included a record of 12-1 against B1 teams. While opinions may differ on what constitutes a "good" team, I believe this team would qualify as one.

Yeah, pretty good, when the two B1 teams play each other that should be an awesome game.

They would be an average team in D10. Lost 4-0 err 4-2 to ELK River. I don't want to hear excuses either. They lost fair and square. Should be ranked between 15-20.

actually the score was...

Woodbury 8
AV 0

not sure why someone thought it was 11 - but it hardly
mattered that day...

they were a good dump n chase team ( lots of stick work )
but we had a kid severly injured the day before..
surely the AV goalie had a bad day
( the first goal was an icing that hopped in )

all i know is weeks later - our season is complete with joy regardless...

AV beat the Sioux Falls "B" team in the Spring Lake Park
tournament for the title...
( they don't have an 'A' team - but they are playing in 3 other 'A'
minn tournaments?)

Sioux has a #19 that surely could play - i think he hit the post 6 times
and was stopped on multiple break aways.....

it was way too cool.....
