I've only been to one East game this year and I noticed that they are in fact lacking in size. I mean, their student section was so small the other student section kept saying "We can't hear you" and they were sitting about 100 feet apart!
I'm guessing you were at the White Bear Lake game? That was a sad crowd, probably due somewhat to the location (SAHA-ugh). Were they saying "We can't hear you?" I sure couldn't hear them either. The other games have been much better-attended, especially the one in Cloquet tonight, when there was no room to move and people were spilling into the stairwells.

Yeah Blazedbrave was not there, he was in the hospital getting his leg surgically reconstructed because he was in a bad accident. oh and wheres your team this year? a 8-2 win over the eagles? you cant say anything if your team cant do anythingeagle4life9 wrote:Yeah one kid was bragging about how Burnsville's fans were the only ones you could hear on TV. Does this mean you were sitting at your house watching on TV and not there supporting your team?

Dude your tripping fans are fans untill the end the end of the game. after the game its just kidsReggie wrote:I'd be happy if my team scored 3 goals in 3 mins. Just a little sportsmanship would be nice, looking at the other posts on this thread I don't think I'm out of line saying " burnsville fans are poor, sore losers!!!!!!!!!!!GetofftheRideifyourScared wrote:ok "reggie" how were they sore? and can you honestly say you wouldn't be sore, if your team scored 3 goals in 3min??Reggie wrote:After the GR game at state the burnsville students were a bunch of sore LOSERS!!! Worst fans at state hands down!
Other than East, most of the student sections from the north are very well-mannered. They have respectable cheers, they sit down, and they don't try to draw attention away from what they are there for - THE GAME. I'm just glad those of us "up-nort" don't have to deal with those city school student sections that often.MNsGreatest#2 wrote:Best fans at the tourney last year, definitely GR. They showed a boat load of class and respect to Roseau. I was very impressed.
wow, how can you say GR has the best Stud sec. Bville raped them at state. Rosemount, Jefferson and Bville have unreal stud secs. Hill murray aint bad either. Burnsvilles only problem is that they have one of the worst athletic directors in state from what i have seen at some of the games. He wont let them say anything disrespectful.
burnsville probably has one of the greatest student sections out there, they are so good they are no longer allowed to sit behind the opposing teams bench because they were to loud at the edina game. their fans are also out tailgating in the parking lot 2 hours befor every game
Can any other school say this? didn't think so, 'nuff said.

thats becasue everyone up north knows and respects the game, half the kids that go to hockey games in the citys dont even know what icing is.norcon wrote:Other than East, most of the student sections from the north are very well-mannered. You can't really base your opinion on the LN game because it was pretty hard to get to the arena in time for tailgating. With 6 inches of snow on the roads that day most Bville fans showed up a little later, like gametime. Inside though we were clearly the stronger fan base even though it was an away game and the roads were bad.

also burnsvilles tailgates are weak, the one before the LN game had like 6 kids.

at bville our AD is pretty strict too.. he kicked out two rows of kids at the edina game and of course we cant stand behind the opposing bench anymore.. wasn't really smart to let us in the first place. haha and we can't do the "bender" chant anymore i heard which sucks. but i'd go with what the other guy said any just keep doing whatever. i doubt the AD will kick out your whole section. fight the power!Dirty Dangler wrote:mnpuck1233 wrote:The bville fans drink..that is hot chocolate and coffee..and yes us bville fans are on top and will remain on top until another schools fans get too loud they cant stand where they usually stand..come see me
Well at St. Cloud Apollo were having that problem right now, us fans got somthing to cheer about and were likeing it and the 2nd home game of the year we got kicked out of our section, but i think its mostly due to our ridiculous AD. Its frustrating, got any good advice for us.

haha yes i was there. very creative.. the wheels on your house go round and round? how about sugar daddies. no? hooked on phonix? or the always popular sign sticks and pads provided by goodwill. haha.karl(east) wrote:I'm guessing you were at the White Bear Lake game? We used Hooked on Phonix early in the game; must not have been loud enough or something. The wheels on your house is probably my favorite. We don't speak Ojibwe is awful but still a fun one as well. Only at East-Cloquet.

Bville's fans are gonna be out of control with a graduating class of 800...you cant really blame them because there are gonna be some fans that think they can shout out anything. the ad at burnsville has to at least "try" to keep the fans from tearing down the house( like what they did to edina)...and tailgating is now a hockey thing in bville since they had nothing to cheer for with a 1-8 football team..come see me

I don't know about you guy's but iv'e been to a couple thief river games, and they can be pretty nasty. I talked to a very big guy there stands about 6-4, and he said that when there is nothing going on with other Prowler activities it can get crazy in that huge arena. Thief never seems to pack it but its student section can carry the load
