Qualifications (lacking), Motivational (makes his team run stairs in front of the fans when they lose to a team, who was better than them on that night), Arrogance (has helped to run SCYHA into a slump by his lack of "big picture" thinking), Communications (has a bad reputation for that, amongst players, coaches, fans, parents, SCYHA volunteers, etc.) Results (takes a team with very qualified players and can't create a STRONG season in a weak CLC.) Communications II (has players set up for Elite League tryouts, and doesn't get them there... BAD) Support (Should have at least two players in Elite League every year, but doesn't know how to use connections to better his players.. is he afraid they might leave early?)zippitydoda wrote:Blue and Gold:
I understand your opinion. I certainly don't agree with some of the things that have been done. I am curious, though, from your perspective what you see as the primary problem. Is it a lack of X and O? Lack of communication? Not enough experience? Motivational tactics? Personality? I'd be interested in hearing your views.
These are very high level examples, and may not be the best to support my feelings, but they came to mind first. Probably my biggest issue with him is that the area is ripe for quality hockey, and he doesn't support it all, just his little corner of it. That is why, as a program, Tech will be going to the State Tournament as fans only. If a player wants to go to The Show, they better find somewhere else to play.
and BTW, stop shouting.
