Little Pregame Article

Post by stxnpux »

Here is a nice pregame article from the FM forum about the game tonight.

Of interest please note the last paragraph about the webcast of the DE/MHD game this Saturday in Duluth. It would be nice if they can get it up and running for future games as well......

Moorhead for the win, not because I live here but because Roseau has one hell of a student section to put up with this year.

You never could put your whistle away.
I always made sure Roseau won. That's what counts in the end.
Once a Ram always a ram even if your wearing the stripes. There would be nothing greater in the world than strolling into moorhead/Warroad and calling the penalties 15 to 3 on the opposition. Giving them the old screw job.

Moorhead's First Home Game!

Post by Potatohead9 »

Spuds first home game in their newly remodeled area the Sports Center should be a great game!
Roseau 5
Spuds 1

Moorhead might have a chance if they get the breaks, but Roseau is just too experienced and talented. I dont think Roseau is playing as well as they should be, and Moorheads lacks experience at the blue line and in net.

Moorhead doesn't score a goal.

I don't understand how it matters what teams in the past have done on regular season games, playoff games, state tournament games. When's the last time anyone was on a break-away and trying to figure stats on how the last 5 goalies from the other team [in previous years] has done protecting his 5-hole? That's stating the same thing.

740-the Fan is carrying the game, with Eric Johnson substituting for Dan Hammer and Bernie Burgraf doing the color.

neil guf- yes you are right i do have a business in town. whats your point i cant make a prediction? so you come on here like a little cry baby and make personal accusations. anybody that knows me knows i love roseau all the kids and all the teams but i can still make a prediction any way i think at the time. this team is prime for a loss theyve played poor all year against minimal compatiton. tonight maybe their wake up call. a lack of loyalty? wow what a statement about someone that fallows every game of hockey played by a roseau teams. since im all about my kids which is a true statement i feed them i run them to hockey 24 seven i should be all about my kids and any parent that says their not is a lier. that doesnt mean i dont root for all kids wearing green and white. as for my business do you support my business? im guessing no because its obviouse by your statement you dont know me from adam. i would say 25% of my business is supported with hockey families and of those 25% none of them would stop coming because of my prediction on one hockey game. as for the other 75% probley could careless or dont even know theirs a hockey game tonight. one more final tid bit of info for ya i just before i came on this board paid off a bet i made predicting roseau pee wee a's would lose to duluth east when they were here. now let me see do i have a kid on that team? mmmmmmmmm yep i believe i do so what does that mean i hate my kid i hate roseau hockey. no its called makeing a prediction. i like the vikings do i predict them to win every week not hardley. so who ever you are dont come on here making personal comments about people you dont even know. you can say im an idiot thinking the spuds could win or whatever but leave my work and kids out of your posts period.

What tradition? I can think of at least 3 times the Spuds beat Roseau in the section championship. There's no tradition. Both teams have beaten the other in the section title game. Get your facts straight.
