Game Scores
Tonka - 2
Edina White -2
Tonka, strong start, more shots, could not get the puck in the net...
Another "fall behind, and catch up..." story
Frustrating team...they need the killer instinct be successful - get an early lead and build upon it.
I wonder who will step up for this team?

Great celebration by AV player in that game, after scoring the 5th goal he lifted up his jersey only to show a ref's shirt underneath it and he pointed at the goal in front of the goalie's face signaling goal, sure he picked up a 2 minutes penalty, but with 3 minutes left its classic.StoppatchFairplayHelmets0 wrote:WBL Orange beat Brooklyn Park 7-1

More like great unsportsmanlike conduct in that game. I'm sure in future games when the score is closer that kind of display will come back to haunt you and your team.hockeyjunkie2 wrote:Great celebration by AV player in that game, after scoring the 5th goal he lifted up his jersey only to show a ref's shirt underneath it and he pointed at the goal in front of the goalie's face signaling goal, sure he picked up a 2 minutes penalty, but with 3 minutes left its classic.StoppatchFairplayHelmets0 wrote:WBL Orange beat Brooklyn Park 7-1

It's too bad that the WBL team played soo poorly. It only made a very average team look good. If your team is going to put away the better teams than you should look like you know how to do it. Do it with class next time and the hockey world will give you it's blessings.

Actually don't play on the team, not on any team, I was at the high school game today and just heard about it, oh come on lighten up its kinda funny, or is someone perhaps still a little bitter? Just kiddin, have a sense of humor some things are done in good fun.StoppatchFairplayHelmets0 wrote:More like great unsportsmanlike conduct in that game. Yes, that is the correct score. After 1st, Moose up 1-0. After 2nd Moose up 4-1. Final 5-2. Moose Lake goalie Austin Lanoue with 27 saves and Hermantowns goalie (not sure which one) had 29 saves.Duluth 4 wrote:is that the correct score? game summary?bigpoppababy wrote:District 11 play

yeah
I agree if you work hard the whole season you should get in for sure
I would typically agree, but with the subjectivity of the FPP, the best team doesn't always end up on top of the league standings. Last year my son's team lost a total of 5 FPP, three of them in games reffed by the same officials. I am not putting down the officiating, but I'm saying that different refs call things differently, which then differentially affects the number of points a team receives each game. With the equivalent of 8 wins in the FPP system each season, I think having the teams battle it out on the ice during districts, when FPP have no effect, usually determines the best teams, especially with the double-elimination format. By the way, my son's team has been league champion the past two years, so no sour grapes here.
