Which would mean he would have needed transfer papers filed by March 31st unless his parents moved to the White Bear school district and his older brother stayed in Mounds View.
Which is an option for his older brother inder the residency\transfer rules.

Ryan enrolled in White Bear previous to the transfer rule going into effect so he shouldn't have to sit out any games and his older brother danny will stay at mounds view because he is the captain of the team.

If he's in 9th grade it doesn't matter as this would be his 1st high school.
Not according to some other posts on the new rules.

i think you may be incorrect on the defensive core. i herd that andre peltier made it, and gjerde and hoffman were fighting for the last spot.

Makes sense since Peltier played some varsity last year.

Good question - and yes he was a junior last year. From what I've seen of Abrahamson in j.v. games, he's not all that good.

All of those named are on Varsity. Yes, I did forget Peltier.

On another note, Corey was a junior, but he moved back. I'm pretty sure he came from Buffalo last year.

I'm pretty sure they don't know the lines yet, but then again I am just a parent.

On another note, IMO Walters is better than Wolter. Walters was on the U17 team and was a top scorer on STA last year as a freshman...I think that beats out Wolter.

I'm sorry but is this Ryan Wolters really deserving of his own thread? The next Crosby? That's funny :D ...Ryan is good but he won't be near as good as Jake Hansen of last year, and definately not as the as The Next One.

Yeah with Sager coaching there never is a set first line, the lines change every 3 days it seems.

Also, it seems to me like White Bear coaching is everybody else's garbage. Coach Long of Stillwater getting voted out of their varsity program three years ago, he came to White Bear. Now, two year ago(?) Nick Nitti of Mounds View comes in as a former strength coach, and is named assistant coach. Did this guy even play hockey? What good can a guy like that do?

Nitti played hockey for Mounds View in high school I believe.

The better poll may be how many times people confuse ryan wolter with ryan walters.

i think you guys may be too harsh on coach nitti, from those of you who dont know him, he is a very good guy, nice to talk to and nice to have on the bench.

A nice coach doesn't make a good coach. I would expect this program to accept nothing but the best.

I tune in for the first time in a while and what do I see but WBMD taking shots at White Bears coaches. I am not a disgruntled parent or a kid who was benched or cut by these people. I am somebody that watches hockey and evaluates players for a living. Both of these coaches are good at their jobs. they are also first class people that are very well respected in the "hockey" world. White Bear is a great program that has a great coaching staff period.

Almost all high school coaches do a good job for their kids. They work many hours and sacrifice a lot to do their jobs. We should all try to limit the assaults on coaches and kids in these forums. This is a great game that we all love so we should try to keep it above board.

You have your opinion towards Sager and I have mine.
