New jerseys in Burnsville

Post by ozzdan21 »

So apparently the Blaze got some new jerseys after last years state tourney run. They are kind of a knockoff of the boston bruins logo. They are sick nasty.
The team will also all wear matching clear cages on their helmets.

lol thats funny, but the 2nd and 3rd lines will produce much more then they did last year. they have gotten a lot stronger and over 90% of the team is built of seniors, last year there was only one senior existing on the 2nd and 3rd lines

the 2nd and third lines as of now are pretty equal for skill
they will probably combine for a fourth of the goals this season but they make up for the scoring with their physical hitting play. Returning d will be solid with duff and anderson and branson

Touting your new jerseys as sick nasty? Are the coaches going to let you wear some of your bling bling to the arena to show off to the ladies? You do have to look good AT ALL TIMES!

That's what everyone said about Roseau last year.

Just because they probably aren't going to come out of the section doesn't mean that they're going to be a losing team. They will be a very good team this year and I expect them to give any team they play a very tough game.

ya they only have two of the best players in the state and their whole team minus two guys coming back. They'll probably suck

Hey, wasn't Burnsville supposed to lose to Holy Angels at Mariucci last year? I guess we can just count Burnsville and anyone else out of section 2 right now and give Edina a free pass to St. Paul.

Don't count anyone out in playoff time. Trust me, I'm from AHA I should know :D. But Edina is going to amazing this year, and they are probably the pre-season favorite to come out of the section.
Third times a charm.

Perfect example of how a hot goalie matters.

Just saw burnsville scrimmage in duluth. They looked quite good, and were one of the most physical teams I have ever seen. Every chance they had to lay someone out they took.

Burnsville vs. Duluth Marshall, LOSS 1-2
Burnsville vs. Hermantown, WIN 2-0 (game called after whole first line, barnes, hendo, perisic, branson, mcduff thrown out for fighting)
Burnsville vs. Stillwater, LOSS 1-3

they used a total of 4 goalies during the varsity games, so obviously not sure on who the starter will be. (becker, benedict, schlink, sturlaughson)

from what i was told nobody was thrown out of the scrimmage. there was no official ref but after the fight the entire line was not allowed to return to the burnsville bench by the burnsville coach so they had to leave the ice. it was more for discipline and a message than anything else.

From what I heard the Stillwater v. Hermantown game was full of fighting as well. I doubt the Burnsville boys started it

Well was the Stillwater-Burnsville game bad as well? They could potentially see each other again in the schwan's cup

First off, to Lucia4President. Burnsville was never supposed to lose to Holy Angels last year. The Stars are choke artists and, at least for me, was not surprised to see the Blaze knock them off.

And secondly, Burnsville shouldnt beat Jefferson easily. Jags will be a surprising team this year. And also, as we mentioned about the Holy Angels game, anything can happen. Do not be shocked at the outcome of the game this Saturday if it goes to Jefferson
