Now one of the questions I had... and I'm serious about, is being able to use funds from your 401K to fund college for your kids...tax and penalty free....I think it's a great idea...because many of us did not have the option for the 529 plan, why won't they allow it, is it because of the tax revenue loss? or what.

Simply, what tax have you ever known that has gone away once the goverment implements it??
