Given the amount of scouts at some of these Elite games and the success he is having, I would guess that he is getting offers from several schools. He has definitely become a dominant player and should get a full ride from one of the WCHA schools and he'll have a chance to pick from several choices.

Barnes 1st and then Hendrickson
Hello all -
If Barnes is leaning towards U of Wisconsin. I wonder if the UW coaches would look at Barnes's linemate Jake Hendrickson. He is another nice player who works hard each and every shift. Just a thought...
If Barnes does indeed head to Madison here in a couple years, it goes to prove that "late-bloomers" are possible. I never heard of the kid til last year. Congrats to him. He is a great scorer and very good hockey player.

Waht year?
Does anyone know what year he is going? They have alot of great forwards going next year. They have the whole line at Shattuck coming next year I think. Jordy Murray, Derek Stepan, and Brock Monpettit. That line was unbeleivable last year. Chris Hickey, Kyle Turris. I have only seen Barnes play in the State Tourney. Will he go in before any of these guys?

Isn't it wise to go where you would be an impact player as early as possible? Would Wisconsin be the right place for that type of scenario?

Some great options and now a nice pick by Waterloo in the draft. Hat's off for all the hard work it must take to get to this point!
