The field was none too impressive and numbers were down from last year. The second and final day is this Thursday.

Hopefully kids that would be playing fall hockey would advance from Elite 2 to Elite 1 the following year.

One is at the caliber of Elite 1, I have no idea how he didn't get in, and the other is a good player, but needs to work on his footwork.

Agreed with gretzguy, I was unimpressed with the talent of the players I saw out there.

Aus brothers stack the teams again (with their own players) Give me a break on team selection, next time have coaches that look outside their own squads.......

So who was overlooked in your opinion? who were the evaluators?
7 players from one team(association) does sound a bit skewed if it's fact...

2005 Centennial Bantams, State runner-up to Edina.
2006 Centennial Bantams, State Champs over Edina.

What number did you have in mind so it wouldn't be skewed?

How many does Edina have playing Elite 1 and 2?
The only soft spot I see is the one between my legs

Point taken..I was trying to get a read on where Firehawk was coming from...any of the 05-06 bantams playing upper midwest Elite?

Know what you talk of before you write

Post by cheapshot »

Hey Firehawk, You should do a little research before you write...First, I don't think the two Aus's are related as brothers....cousins I believe. Secondly, my sources tell me that there were coaches there from like 6 different teams. The best players are going to come from the best teams, which will be Blaine and Centennial.
