California Angels vs. Minnesota Twins

Post by Irishmans Shanty »

Let's get the ball rolling by not talking about the Twins play, let's focus on the fact that the Tigerss have given up 16 runs so far this evening to the A's and the Yanks are well on their way to a weekend sweep of the Tribe.

Hit the Boofin ball and get back into this thing.

Angel secondbaseman really like to hit against the Twins.

Irishmans Shanty, how do you do it? How do you continue to watch/post the score here when we continue to go up and not hit?

This game was not as close as the final score reflects.

you would think if we did not get good pitching we could maybe hit, and if we got good pitching we would not be able to hit. But i guess hitting is out of the question all together.

I've been restocked with zeros and I am eagerly awaiting first pitch.

Mauer with a two out RBI single.

Shots on net, attack zone time, and momentum are all on the Twins side so far.

Three pitchers later the 8th is finally over.

There is no substitute for the late inning long ball with men on.

The Twins outshot them, carried the play, and had better goaltending but still managed to lose.

Hopefully Watkins can be our solution to our drought at 3B.
