Bill Walsh Dies

Post by Govs93 »

Bill Walsh died today.

Has there ever been a more influencial coach in the NFL... or maybe pro sports? I mean, that guy is the root of a huge coaching tree (unfortunately, Denny Green is one of those branches). I'm not sure any other coach has the kind of legacy he did.

I agree totally Govs.
He had some of the most dominant teams ever. They had a lot of finesse(sp), and they could punch you in the mouth, too. They very seldom beat themselves.
Most teams were beat before the game started.
Definitely the mark of a well coached team.
